HailGuard™ reviews
HailGuard launched on February 27, 2026 in select regions. It is a UL 2218 Class 4 impact-rated system with a 160 mph WindGuard wind warranty, 8 colors and a system hail warranty of up to 20 years for leaks from hail up to 3 inches. It's too new for hands-on reviews, but the first installs are starting to show up, including early roofs in Kentucky and the Joplin metro.

HailGuard™ helps a lot when I'm talking to homeowners because they're seeing that this is the only asphalt product on the market that has the manufacturer warranty targeting the hail damage. And being in southwest Missouri, that's something that's a huge plus. And homeowners are gonna love that.
Installs very smoothly. It handles well on the roof, uh, which is a super big plus for a contractor because it means that it's gonna be easy to install, it's gonna be a quick process, and that's what we're looking for. And it gives me a lot of confidence as a contractor because I can trust the product that they're gonna stand behind it. That shows me it has quality.
